VTAC PERSONAL STATEMENT DEADLINE
You will receive a transaction number confirming your submission. You must ensure you are eligible for the specialist areas you apply for, otherwise selection is unlikely. Check the lists of institutions that have provided information about their enrolment and deferment policies. Please note that this section is not used for special consideration. Receiving an offer does not confirm your enrolment in the course.
You remain liable for the course application processing fee even if you withdraw your course application because all applications are processed immediately when received. For more information see Changing your course preferences. There are different fees for timely, late and very late course applications, so the amount you pay depends on when you apply. You will be asked for details about your roles including where and when you held the role and the duties your performed, with space provided for you to make comments on each role. Your answer in this section should be generally applicable to all of your course preferences. Note though that course selection authorities may access your information earlier for selection in early offer rounds. The application will tell you if VTAC is able to retrieve your Year 12 results automatically, or if you will need to supply evidence.
You may then submit your application. Use this section to explain your motivation in applying for tertiary study. To be considered for offers, you must pay your course application processing fee on time. If you apply within the ‘timely’ dates but are not currently enrolled in any of the above, you will pay the course application processing fee for all other applicants. You may outline any circumstances that have affected your academic performance in your VTAC Personal Statement; however, if you have experienced any circumstances of disadvantage you should also consider submitting the Special Entry Access Schemes SEAS application.
See final payment dates. You will also be asked to provide details of at least one referee maximum of three who can comment on your work or community experience.
If you are unable to attend at the specified time, you should ask whether the institution allows an authorised nominee someone you choose to enrol on your behalf. If you provide incorrect information or omit information such as current and previous studies, you may jeopardise your chance of receiving offers, or any offers you receive peersonal be withdrawn. You will receive a transaction number confirming your submission.
You will also be asked if you want to participate in the supplementary offer round process. If you wish to direct comments to specific course preferences, identify the course in your comments. You must deadlime all current and previous tertiary studies undertaken in Australia and overseas including tertiary study this year if you did not officially withdraw by the census date.
Receiving an offer does not confirm your enrolment in the course. For more information see Change your course preferences. VTAC will again advise you of the highest offer made if any. If you created an account between August and Januaryyou will still be able to access it using your existing user name and password. You do not have to pay the fee straight away, but if you do not pay by the deadline see Dates and fees your application will not be considered.
VTAC Personal Statement
You must list perdonal current and previous secondary studies undertaken in Australia and overseas including all units of Year 12 studies undertaken in previous years. Verbal offers have no status.
The majority of your Personal Statement, such as your general statement, work experience, and language proficiency, should be broad enough to cover all of your course preferences. If you receive one of these offers, you will still be automatically considered for higher preferences in later offer rounds. You also have the option to view the course information and check that you are selecting the correct course. peraonal
How to apply for courses – VTAC
You can enter up to eight course preferences using the institution and course drop down menus or by entering the course codes. If you do not pay your course application processing fee by persoal due date, your application will not be sent to the course selection authorities and you will not be considered for offers.

If you have experienced any disadvantage during your studies you should make a SEAS application. The supplementary offer process allows courses with vacancies to make offers to certain VTAC applicants who have not previously applied for the course.
